KIA Motors Corporation selected THACO KIA Plant in 2023 to train and supervise the trial production of Kia Sonet cars for ADM, an Uzbekistan company. Following four comprehensive training sessions on production processes and lines for over 200 ADM managers and technical staff, THACO Kia deployed personnel to directly oversee production at ADM starting February 15.
During this period, THACO KIA Plant's team will oversee the body component welding process, weld quality, and precise body accuracy measurements, the sealing and painting processes, the assembly of all components, and evaluate the entire assembly to ensure it meets KIA's global technical requirements and quality standards. THACO KIA's engineers also share methods for handling technical errors at each stage of production, provide ongoing technical support to ADM's management team, engineers, technical staff and workers, ensuring the project stays on schedule.
In preparation for their assignment in Uzbekistan, THACO AUTO convened a THACO KIA Plant monitors THACO KIA team who was sent to oversee Kia Sonet production at ADM KIA SONET PRODUCTION in UZBEKISTAN WEEKLY BULLETIN - 211 6meeting on February 7, 2024, for THACO KIA personnel tasked with supervising Kia Sonet production at ADM. Mr. Doan Dat Ninh, THACO AUTO's Vice President of Production, addressed the group. He shared insights from his international experience, emphasizing the importance of cultural integration. He underscored the company's expectations: adherence to THACO's code of conduct, applying their expertise to excel in their tasks, and ultimately contributing to a positive image and brand reputation for THACO.
THACO KIA Plant's participation in overseeing Kia car production for ADM showcases the capabilities and expertise of their engineering and technical staff. This project extends beyond just THACO KIA; it reflects well on THACO AUTO as a whole. THACO's engineers have not only mastered production processes and quality control through knowledge acquisition, but are now actively contributing to KIA Motors Corporation's technology transfer initiatives.
