The notable courses included Supply chain management, Production cost management, Quality management tools, Analyze performance and efficiency at each production stage, develop strategic thinking, system management skills and nurture leadership development. The courses are a fertile ground for employees to improve competencies for the job, e.g. soft skills, professional expertise, management & leadership skills to meet production and business requirements.
Recently, the division took a proactive approach with a training course tailor-made for over 40 managers and specialists. The course was a deep dive into mastering the practical application of 7 basic quality management tools in automobile manufacturing.
At the training session, students were provided with the concepts, importance and purpose of using 7 quality management tools, including: flowchart, checklist, Pareto diagram, fishbone diagram, scatter diagram, histogram, and control chart, principles, methods and steps to build the tools or relationships among the tools. Learners also engaged in practice and discussions to come up with effective solutions for real problems at factories.
The course was to empower learners with upgraded knowledge of the 7 quality management tools, how to apply each tool in real control practices, improving product quality and production processes at companies and units.
