The main operational strategies and plans at the Production Division, its member companies and units included more focus on R&D to develop diverse products, building THACO Royal brand recognition, increasing local contents for large-volume products and exports (components with manufacturing advantages in Vietnam), and boosting car exports to Southeast Asian countries, upgrading automation in assembly lines, apply a digital transformation with a fast and appropriate roadmap in management, production management, quality control to become smart factories, mass customization, managing costs and financial matters, and building a high-quality workforce with sharp minds and strong market knowledge to meet growth strategies.
At the conference, Mr. Nguyen Quang Bao, the THACO AUTO President said, the production division had to take an active role in the midst of market fluctuations today, understand the market situation and adapt accordingly, develop technological content, increase robots and automation technology in production, digitize management, manage production plans, order components to ensure proper components and finished products inventories, cut down production costs to increase competitiveness, upgrade governance, adjust regulations and processes, and stay in line the reality.
He stressed that KPIs should be implemented comprehensively based on 2 main criteria: production & business and management performance. The THACO AUTO Production Division along with its factories and units ought to study how to put KPI into practice, learn systemic management, and educate staff on regulations and workflows to eliminate errors and promote self-development together with the company.
